Case Summary

Determinations

It is ordered on consent that: 1. For the duration of the tenancy, the Tenant shall have a valid policy of Tenant’s insurance. 2. The Tenant shall provide the Landlord with proof of a valid policy of Tenant’s insurance on or before March 31, 2026. 3. The Tenant shall provide proof of valid Tenant’s insurance or any renewals to the Landlord at such times, and on request, as is reasonable and necessary to confirm the existence of a valid policy of Tenant’s insurance. 4. If the Tenant fails to comply with the conditions set out in paragraph 1-3 of this order, the Landlord may apply under section 78 of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 (the ‘Act') for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Landlord must make the application within 30 days of a breach of a condition. This application is made to the LTB without notice to the Tenants. File Number: LTB-L-085864-25 Order Page 2 of 2 5.
