Assign Tasks — the shared list that replaces the group chat

Org-wide notes with comment threads, @mentions, due dates, assignment and AI clean-up — and anything with a due date lands on the calendar.

One list instead of WhatsApp

Assign Tasks (formerly Team To-Do) is a company-wide shared list for work one person gives another. Add an item, and your team can comment on it, @mention each other, see who has read it, pin it, and tick it off when it is done. It is the same collaborative thread you get on a tenant note, plus due dates and assignment.

Give an item a due date and it appears on the calendar, and in the assignee's morning email every day until it is done. Paste an email into it and Ezy AI will draft the item for you \u2014 so a request that arrives by email stops living in somebody's inbox.

Turn a note into a task

Assign a note to a teammate and give it a due date. They get an in-app notification, a push and an email saying you assigned them a task. Filter the board by open, assigned to me, posted by me or all.

It shows on the calendar

Any note with a due date appears as a task on the Master Calendar — and if it is assigned, in that person's own calendar feed, so it lands in their Outlook subscription. Resolve or archive the note and it drops off.

Write it however you like

Rich-text formatting, photo, video and file attachments on notes and comments, @-autocomplete, an archive view, and an AI clean-up button that turns a rushed note into something readable before your team sees it.

It is your handoff, too

Every to-do assigned to you also shows as a card on your Daily Handoff, and a card you add there becomes a to-do here. Complete either and both are done; assign somebody a to-do and it lands on their day. The rules are in Handoff and Assign Tasks are one list.

Tenant notes work the same way

The same threaded notes live on each tenancy, so a conversation about a tenant sits on that tenant's file rather than scrolling away in a chat. Rent chasing has its own dedicated log — see rent-collection notes.
