Ontario's LTB Order Catalogue, explained

The Ontario government has expanded public access to final Landlord and Tenant Board orders through its Open Data Catalogue. That means landlords and tenants can now download and search official LTB orders directly from a government source — a major step for transparency in Ontario's rental market.

What the catalogue gives you

  • Public access to final LTB orders released through Ontario's Open Data Catalogue.
  • A way for landlords and tenants to use these public records for research and due diligence.
  • A government-published starting point — with LandlordEzy's searchable LTB order database making the same orders far easier to search and navigate, including browsing orders by Ontario city.

Before you rely on an LTB order

  • The catalogue is still being expanded. If someone or something does not appear in the current results, that does not necessarily mean an LTB order does not exist.
  • Always read the complete decision. A name appearing in an order does not tell the whole story — orders involve context, findings and outcomes that a search result alone can't convey.
  • Use public records responsibly. These are official documents about real people; treat them as one input to your due diligence, not a verdict.
