Background
Paul J. Rouillard has spent his working life in Ontario rental housing. He collected his first rent at 14 helping his parents manage their properties, started his own property management company at 22, and has spent 23 years managing rentals, leasing, rent collection, arrears, inspections, maintenance, tenant screening and Landlord and Tenant Board matters — the day-to-day reality of operating rental properties.
That experience is why LandlordEzy exists. Rather than guessing what landlords need, Paul built the platform around the work he was already doing every day: automated Ontario notices like the N4, rent reporting to Equifax, tenant screening and credit checks, digital leases, move-in inspections, maintenance coordination and rental automation.
Today Paul leads product development at LandlordEzy with a simple goal: automate the repetitive work of running rentals so that landlords — from a single property to a growing portfolio or a property management company — can operate consistently, keep organized records and spend less time on administration.
