applied for an order determining that Jack Dyer (the 'Landlord') failed to meet the Landlord 's maintenance obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 (the 'Act') or failed to comply with health, safety, housing or maintenance standards. An Adjudicative Case Conference (‘ACC’) was held by videoconference on May 26, 2026. The Tenant, the Tenant’s Legal Representative, Janet Van Oordt, the Landlord and the Landlord’s Legal Representative, Barrett Beaudoin, attended the ACC. At the ACC, the parties consented to the following order. I was satisfied that the parties understood the terms of the consent and the consequences of them.
It is ordered on consent that: 1. The Landlord shall pay the Tenant $1,630.00 in full and final satisfaction of the Tenant’s application. 2. The amount owing under paragraph 1 of this order shall be paid to the Tenant through the Landlord’ s Legal Representative by sending a cheque, made payable to the Tenant, to the Tenant’s Legal Representative, on or before June 2, 2026. 3. This consent order does not represent any admission of fault of liability by either party 4. This consent order resolves any all issues during the tenancy or arising from the tenancy.
