applied for an order determining that the Landlords arbitrarily or unreasonably withheld consent to assign the rental unit. (LTB-T-077852-24) The Tenants also applied to for an order determining that the Landlords arbitrarily or unreasonably withheld consent to sublet the rental unit. (LTB-T-082872-24) These applications were heard by videoconference on December 4, 2025. Both Landlords, the Landlord’s legal representative, Roselle Greuter, both Tenants and their legal representative, Katrina Eisenhour, attended the hearing.
It is ordered that: 1. The Landlords’ L2 application is dismissed. 2. The Tenant’s A2 application regarding an assignment under file LTB-T-077852-25 is dismissed. 3. The Tenant’s A2 application regarding their sublet to Emily Span and Mathieu Cortemanche, is granted and authorized as of November 30, 2024. 4. The Landlords shall pay to the Tenants $53.00 for the application filing fee by February 13, 2026. 5. If the Tenants do not pay the Tenants by February 13, 2026, then the Landlords will start to owe interest. This will be simple interest calculated at 4.00% annually on the balance outstanding starting February 14, 2026.
