Case Summary

applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Makhtar Niang and Raymonde Thioune (the 'Tenants') because the Tenants did not pay the rent that the Tenants owes. The parties attended a Hearing scheduled on January 26, 2026 by videoconference where the parties agreed to participate in Board facilitated mediation with the assistance of a Dispute Resolution Officer. The Landlord’s Representative Cathy Corsetti and the Tenants Makhtar Niang and Raymonde Thioune participated in the mediation. The Tenants didn’t speak to Tenant Duty Counsel. As a result of the mediation, the parties requested an order on consent. I am satisfied that the parties understand the terms and consequences of their consent.
