When to use the T1 — and what happens next

Recover money a landlord owes (illegal charges, overpaid rent). The T1 is filed by the tenant.

Serving a notice does not end a tenancy by itself — an LTB order is required, and only the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) can enforce an eviction. Confirm the exact dates and current version on the official form.
