Add team members (roles & permissions)
Invite staff, a co-owner or an accountant and control exactly which modules each can see.
Why use sub-users
Instead of sharing one login, invite each team member their own. You decide what they can access — for example, give an accountant the Expense Tracker and rent ledger but not screening reports.
How to add someone
- Go to Account → Roles & Permissions and click Add.
- Enter their name and email and set a per-module permission matrix (view / create / edit).
- They get a secure invite to set their own password and see only what you allowed.
Two things sub-users do not get by default
- The Activity Feed has its own permission — it is a supervisor's view of who did what, not something every team member should hold.
- Company Accounting is not covered by the permission matrix at all. It has a separate email allowlist, and with none configured, access is your own login only. A bookkeeper must be added deliberately.
Good to know
You remain the main account holder. You can change a sub-user's permissions or remove them at any time. (Roles & Permissions is available to the main landlord.) Modules like the calendar, notes and leasing each have their own permission, so you can hand someone the leasing calendar without handing them the books.
