The Activity Feed — who did what

An append-only record of every change your team makes, with a field-level diff, filters, deep links and a CSV export for an owner dispute or an LTB file.

The question it answers

“I didn't do that.” Before, there was no way to check. Now there is: an append-only trail recording who changed what, and when.

Crucially it records the individual, not the account. When a sub-user acts, the log knows it was them — not the company login they work under.

It records itself

Around 50 record types across 20 process areas — calendar, rent, bills, owners, maintenance, notices, leasing, screening and more — are watched automatically. Creates, updates and deletes are logged with a field-level diff, with no extra step for anyone.

It stays readable: bulk rewrites collapse into one line, an edit that only touches cached totals or timestamps writes nothing, and secrets are recorded as changed but never with their values. A failed log line can never fail a rent payment.

Use the feed

Open Account → Activity Feed and filter by person, process, action, date or free text. Entries are grouped by day with per-person totals, expandable what changed diffs and deep links to the record. Export to CSV when you need it for an owner dispute or an LTB file. Sign-ins are included, as is “who opened this” for a short list of sensitive reads — owner statements, screening reports, downloads — deliberately not every click, which would bury the trail instead of building it.

Attribution on the record itself

You do not have to go to the feed. Records carry an actor chip — initials, name, and the history of who changed this — so the master calendar event card, the edit modal and the bills table all say who is responsible right where you are looking.

Who can see it

The feed has its own permission and is not granted to sub-users by default — it is a supervisor's view. Entries are kept for two years.
