Recall a sent lease to fix a mistake
Pull a sent or signed lease back to a draft to correct it, then re-send — safely.
When you spot an error after sending
On the Leases list, Recall to Edit pulls a lease that's awaiting signatures — or already fully tenant-signed — back to a draft you can change.
What it does
- Clears every signature and invalidates all signing links so nothing stale can be signed.
- Keeps the previously signed PDFs on file for audit (they're detached, not deleted).
- Can't be undone — recalling is a fresh start on signatures.
It's available while the lease is pending or tenant-signed, but not once the lease is active.
Then re-issue it
Make your correction and click Update & send to tenant to re-issue the lease in one step.
