Adding co-signers / joint tenants
Put more than one adult on a lease so everyone is jointly responsible for the rent.
How it works
On the create/edit lease page, use Add Joint Tenant to add up to 3 additional adults. Only their first and last name are required; add an email to e-send them a signing link. Each joint tenant signs electronically from their own passwordless link.
Why it protects you
Joint tenants are jointly and severally liable for the rent — if one can't pay, the others are still on the hook. It's a useful protection on any shared tenancy.
