File Storage & document folders
Drag in a whole batch of files at once, name and categorise them only if you want to, and organise a tenancy's documents into your own folders.
Upload a batch, not a file
Open Documents & Billing → File Storage and drop a whole batch onto the upload zone (or click to browse) — you see a live list of what is queued. Each file is filed as its own entry, individually named, categorised and deletable, rather than bundled into one row. Filing seven PDFs from a single eviction is one drag.
Name and category are optional
Leave the name blank and each file is titled from its own original filename; leave the category blank and it lands in Uncategorized. If you do type a name and upload several files, they are suffixed (1), (2)… automatically.
Your own folders on a tenancy
The Documents tab on a tenant profile has a folder bar: All, each folder with a live count, and New folder. Make an “Eviction” folder and a “Rent increase” folder and file things your way. Click a folder to filter; move any file with its Folder dropdown. Deleting a folder keeps its files — they simply become unfiled.
It ties back to the tenancy
A signed lease uploaded here still attaches to the tenancy automatically, and files uploaded to storage can be attached to a tenancy afterwards. Ezy AI notices can be saved straight to Documents as evidence.
