Please get legal advice before changing payment instructions. Being on title is an important fact, but it may not answer who the occupant is required to pay under their agreement. That depends on your SIREG agreement and the occupant’s lease or payment terms, which a lawyer can review with you. OLH doesn’t advise on this. No one wants an occupant put at risk of being asked to pay twice.
