It is ordered that: 1. The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before February 23, 2024. 2. If the unit is not vacated on or before February 23, 2024, then starting February 24, 2024, the Landlords may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced. 3. Upon receipt of this order, the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) is directed to give vacant possession of the unit to the Landlords on or after February 24, 2024. 4. The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $35,000.00. This amount includes rent arrears owing up to the date of the hearing and the costs of repairing and/or replacing the damaged property, less the rent deposit and interest the Landlord owes on the rent deposit and the amount in excess of the Board’s monetary jurisdiction. 5. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlords $186.00 for the costs of filing the application. 6. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlords the full amount owing on or before February 23, 2024, the Tenants will start to owe interest. This will be simple interest calculated from February 24, 2024 at 7.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
